Have an ordinary fortnight and an uneventful period of time to follow. Peace.

Many thanks good Mr Lestaret, I hope too that you and yours are stolid in your demeanour during this period and that undue pleasantries are kept to a minimum. You’re surely too kind in your salubrious thoughts my friend.

I get where you’re coming from. I understand the need for a bit of light in the dark of the year and all that but all the superfluous nonsense is a load of old balls really. Still, glad to have discovered your blog in 2014 and looking forward to reading more from you in 2015.
All the very best to you,
    John.

Thanks Mr Nash, there’s a place for some Lovecraft amongst the ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’

Hit the ‘reply’ button too early there old chap. I was going to say thanks for dropping by and being a part of the blog this year, there’s plenty more to come in 2015. Very best wishes to you and yours.

Shucks!! – I’ve just finished a family choral ensemble of “The most wonderful time of the Year” , found myself whistling ” When a child is born…” and was just about to settle in to watching “Elf” for the 50th time – Am I banned!!!

Take care, catch up in the New Year

Felicem diem Nativitatis & Laeta Novus Annus to your good self & to all who visit here.

Of course you’re not banned Julian, you’ve only just joined us here and there’s plenty more to come in 2015. Enjoy whatever you’re up to with your family my friend and have a safe passage into the new year.

All the very best to you and yours, see you on the other side.

The kids said they were bored watching “Elf” anyhow + The boiler just packed up so perhaps I might just step into the spirit of “The Grinch” in time for the big day…..

Perhaps I’ll spend all of the children’s Xmas money on lovely paperbacks, now there is a good idea

    Take care my friend

No boring details, but I haven’t commented on your last few blogs as I’ve been restricted to using my computer for essentials only – SORRY!!

I’ve loved all of them, and will participate again in the new year, I promise.

Wishing you a quiet Christmas and a non-eventful New Year

Hello there Bernie, thanks for your kind message. No worries about your lack of recent input, you’ve played an important part in this blog so far and it’s good to know you’re still here for the ride onwards. Take care and enjoy your celebrations. My very best wishes for a safe and happy 2015 xxx
