After a couple of weeks off spent sampling hospital food (mainly bad), I’m back to serve up yet another tasty Badger treat for your delectation. This week’s title hides under no pseudonym, the name of R. L. Fanthorpe adorns the cover along with the following tagline;
The invaders left the world facing the deadliest peril in its history
The cover art by a chap called Carlo Jacono is pure Badger – a fabulously attired astronaut stands atop a rocky outcrop menacingly brandishing a boulder at his counterpart below on the pock-marked green planet’s surface. Fabulous stuff I’m sure you’ll agree!
It’s great to feature a book here which Fanthorpe decided to put his real name on as I have no other such titles in my collection.
Join me again next weekend for another dip into the archives as I present my day’s reading to you for further analysis.
