A Badger Book On Sunday With The Reverend R. L. Fanthorpe, Chapter 29

Rev Fanthorpe Frame

It’s been a busy and stressful few weeks over at Unsubscriber Towers due to one thing or another and so I’m pleased to be able to curl up in my favourite chair with a Badger for company as usual this week. I’ve chosen a John E. Muller title to read, this is of course a pseudonym for the trio of R. L. Fanthorpe, John S. Glasby and A. A. Glynn as I’m sure you’re well aware by now. The tagline reads as follows;

A peculiar new life came from the silent forgotten tower

The cover art features a rather perturbed looking young lady staring up at the titular tower as a man seems to do battle with some invisible force emanating from the building in the corner of the book.

It all sounds slightly strange and so I’d best dig in to find out what’s going on. Join me again next time for more Badger action and as always, feel free to drop a comment in the box.

Survival Project by John E. Muller
(Serial Number SF117)
This version was published in 1966 by Badger Books

    Is it me, or does the chap in Lycra look as if he is ice skating? Without skates though…

      Lycra man does indeed look like he’s donned a pair of anti-gravity skates, well spotted Mr Lestaret, I missed that one!

    The back cover description sounds like a nifty little sci-fi movie.
