Well, we’ve almost run out of Sundays for this year and so I’m looking forward to my lazy part of the weekend with a Badger book for company all the more this time around. I’ve been saving today’s choice of title for some months now but I’m finally ready to enjoy it without interruption. It’s yet another penned by John E. Muller or the trio of R. L. Fanthorpe, John S. Glasby and A. A. Glynn. Let’s cast an eye over that ever-present tagline now shall we;
Mankind, past and present, waited to learn if there was a possible future
And what a cover we have here! A gaggle of somewhat anxious looking people stand huddled together in the foreground as a huge spaceship hovers ominously behind them. The ship is spherical in shape and is bristling with crackling antennae, it looks more like a giant tree decoration than a spacecraft!
Well, that’s almost it for this year now and I have only one more Badger book left on my shelf to share with you so be sure to join me next week as I draw this long running series to a close. Your comments on this week’s cover are more than welcome as usual.
Night Of The Big Fire by John E. Muller
(Serial Number SF75)
This version was published in 1962 by Badger Books
