HI I just read Patti Smith’s M Train with her stark b & w polaroids which I really enjoyed. I like that you have managed to capture such powerful and iconic images using such simple colour vignettes. Dare I ask, did you use a polaroid camera or are these created using software?

Thanks Guy, very kind words. I did indeed create these Polaroids using images taken on my iPhone and applying a series of filters in post production. I took the shots imagining I had a Polaroid camera in my hand then used a little creative licence to finish off the look. I hope this doesn’t affect your enjoyment though. All the best as ever.

Always liked Polaroids, even did Polaroid transfers when I still could. Lovely set! : ]

Thanks for your kind comments, these aren’t actual Polaroids but have been created using multiple filters and post production techniques. Glad to hear you enjoyed them for what they represent, best wishes.

Yes they are not real Polaroids: the expert eye detects the difference. (And I have boxes full of old Polaroids.) But a lovely sense of time and place. ; ]
